Oratio Rosarii

Orémus:

Let us pray.

Deus, cuius Unigénitus per vitam,

O God, whose Only-Begotten, through His life,

mortem et resurrectiónem suam nobis

death, and resurrection, obtained for us

salútis ætérnae praemia comparávit,

the rewards of eternal salvation,

concéde, quaésumus; ut, haec mystéria sacratíssimo

grant, we beg, that while recalling these mysteries

beátæ Maríae Vírginis Rosário recoléntes,

in the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary,

et imitémur quod cóntinent,

we may both imitate what they contain

et quod promíttunt assequámur.

and obtain what they promise.

Per eúndem Christum Dominum nostrum.

Through the same Christ our Lord.
